Place to see cool cars during limited layover in Tokyo?

Hi all,

I’ll be arriving in Japan for about an 8 hour layover Saturday, January 20th. 6am-2:45pm. Narita airport, I’ve been once before. I obviously have very little time but I’m traveling solo and don’t mind hustling a bit to try and find some sort of auto museum or car meet or SOMETHING I can do that’s car-related during this layover. I have access to the subway lines/buses/good old walking for transport.

Surprisingly, I’ve found very little in terms of convenient car-related things to do in Tokyo proper. The Auto Salon in Chiba would have been perfect except it seems to only be taking place the weekend before. The Daikoku Futo parking lot sounds fantastic but idk if they do meetups on Saturdays and it seems possibly a bit too far away (2h40m ish) to fit into being able to make my flight out. I heard Aoyama is a good place for car spotting but I’m not sure I want to risk staying camped that long without the guarantee I’ll see some good stuff.

If anyone has any suggestions on something I can do that would be most appreciated! Thanks in advance.
