So for context. I just moved to Japan recently in Tokyo into an apartment on the 3rd floor.
My entire apartment doesn’t have any windows that face the street. They all face the wall which is pretty much right next to my windows.
I signed up for UQ Mobile and UQ WiMax at Yodobashi yesterday, because the guy at the store told me he doesn’t recommend I get fiber because the fiber line in my apartment is a VDSL so it’s capped at 100mbps.
So I ended up with the UQ WiMax home router.
It sucks. Downloads fluctuate from 30-170 but the upload speed fluctuates from 0.02 to 9.
Download is fine but the upload is downright unusable most times.
Is there a way to try docomo or SoftBank 5g without costing too much money?
