I was in the process of relocating to Japan via my company with my long term girlfriend (who was transferring to Japan at her job) but one thing lead to another and we’re both still moving to Japan but as single people.
Now because I’ll be hitting 30 in 2 years I’m suddenly a bit anxious about it. (but this might just be more my insecurities about turning 30 LOL)
On one hand I really do still want to move but on the other I’m worried serious relationships might be less feasible abroad? Especially since, you know, I might not stay in Japan for more than a couple of years and I’d imagine most people don’t want to move out of their home country (but also who knows I might just fall in love with the place and stay).
I’ve managed to make somewhat *romantic* connections in Japan in the past with minimal Japanese but the dating game I’m sure is a whole other ball game. Any insights?
