Should I use air con heating overnight?

It’s currently 1°C and my arms are freezing so I can type this. I live in an old drafty detached house, where the curtains in my room move if it is windy.

My bed has one of those carpet looking pads under the sheet, then I have an extra thick blanket and a throw on top. I’m wearing pyjamas, so when I’m under the blanket, it is pretty toasty.

However, my face is always cold and I get a sore throat from the cold, dry air. My thermo is reading 5°c inside…

Is it ok to run the air con all night at say 15°C? Will it dry the air more and hurt me health wise, will it be mega-expensive? I don’t know how I’m supposed to will myself out of bed in an hour.

Edit: a lot of people are suggesting heated blankets, water bottles etc. as I mentioned in paragraph two, sentence 2, I’m warm under the blanket.

I think I’m going to start with humidifier+Aircon tonight, then look into buying some bubble wrap and draft tape over the weekend. Then if I still need heat after that it’s oil heater time. Thank you to everyone that wasn’t unnecessarily rude/abrasive.
