Hello everyone! I’ve been to Japan twice, once as an exchange program when I was a student and I revisited the country last year as a tourist. I would love to get to live in Japan for a short period of time. I graduate medical school in two years and wanted to know if I can apply for a postdoc and what are the steps in order to do so? I checked the MEXT scholarship the YLP scholarship which is curated for postdoc but it said only those with a phD are eligible to apply. I’m not sure how strict these rules are. Does anyone know of a way to apply for a research position as a medical doctor? Thank you so much.
I am willing to get an N1 if needed, my Japanese speaking and listening skills are N2 but I’m too lazy to catch up with kanji lol.
