  1. _that’s awesome! I also think you’re going to wish that you stayed a server because making sushi is soooooo much more work._

  2. Great job! I was a server at a sushi restaurant for 2 years and my boss FINALLY let me make a roll after I’d worked there for quite a while. I made the world’s absolute ugliest spicy tuna roll on my one try.

  3. Looks great! Consider adjusting the presentation to expose more of what’s inside each piece.

  4. I thought it might be brown rice mixed at first. The brown made me interested, it looks really tasty!

  5. I love that this isn’t overwhelmingly saucy. Offset that presentation angle a tad. Sounds and looks lovely. Thank you!

  6. There’s the fusion/western school, and there’s the proper japanese purist school. It pays to learn both in your career

  7. That looks super tasty, but I think it could be a little more tightly rolled. It might just be the angle of the camera though, that end piece looks loose and like it might tend to break up when picked up.

  8. That is a nice looking roll, congrats! However, it takes years and years to become an actual sushi chef. Stay humble and keep practicing and one day you might become one.
