2. That’s one of the few things that could possibly be more shit then HoT still existing after years of xpac heat it’s gotten.

3. I’m up for it, both the idea of Akira perhaps not being as ride-or-die with UE as he thought and TJP transitioning to heavyweight has me interested.

4. I don’t know that seems like a minor offence given some of the other crimes Gedo has committed as a Booker recently

5. I love TJP, but no. Even out of the two juniors this feels like the wrong choice. Out of all of UE, Khan feels like the only choice that makes sense. But outside of that, I don’t think United Empire should have a new leader at all. I don’t think any of them are super fit for it frankly and I also don’t think they need it. Ospreay would like reject a lot of leadership positioning anyways and would corner singles matches for like HENARE and Kyle Fletcher.

   Imagine Okada cornering a random G1 match for YOSHI-HASHI, or Jay doing that for Yujiro.

   Cobb, HENARE, Khan, TJP, Akira, Newman is a great line-up. I think if you did more band-of-brothers with that it’d be something great and mark a clear transition for the stable post-Ospreay.

   I’m hoping Soberano, Jr. ends up associated with them when he’s working NJPW this year.

6. Odd as AEW work w/ NJPW so why oust Ospreay? Then if it happens I.e see Bullet Club why not have Jeff Cobb take over ?

9. TJP would probably be my second choice after O-Khan. But maybe they want a foreigner to do it since UE is basically a babyface bullet club at this point (foreigner faction).

11. Add me to the list of people who think United Empire doesn’t need a leader. If there is going to be a leader I think it should be GoK as the leader in the same way that Taichi is the leader of J5G’s.

    However I do think UE needs a heavyweight ace. I don’t think GoK is that. I see Henare is the Ishii role. I love Cobb but he may be gone soon, and he’s been used as a mid card guy so much it’s kind of hard to take him seriously as that ace that could win the world title. And I don’t see Newman or catch 22 on that role either. At least not anytime soon. So idk who it’s gonna be but I do think they’ll need someone.

12. Makes sense. He’s the most experienced. His new mask thing can lead him to being a threat to everyone. War Games will be his coming out party.
