To former English teachers – would you go back if it was just temporary?

To anyone who really disliked teaching and now works in a different industry:

As the eikaiwa and ALT jobs are fairly easy to get into, would you ever go back if it was just for a while?

If you quit your current role and needed some cash before starting/finding the next one, or if circumstances meant you planned to leave the country but couldn’t yet, would you consider it an option?

Despite my passion for a good English teacher bashing session, joking aside I’d be really interested to know. My time as an English teacher wasn’t without its good memories and it was very easy money. I could work in hospitality or retail part time sure but I imagine it’s much harder and less money than teaching.
