Japan itinerary (Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka/Hakone/Kamakura/etc. last week of March to mid April)

Hello, this is a rough preliminary itinerary I have come up with to see the spring blossoms this upcoming March/April with a few of my friends. I’m planning to do about 3-4 things daily. Even though I’ve been a few times to Japan already, I still am quite forgetful of where things are located within the cities, so please forgive me if the locales are jumbled up out of order chronologically/proximity-wise. Also, do you think $2.5k USD is enough for one person staying in Japan a little over two weeks (excluding plane ticket and shopping)? We’re going to be staying at half hotels/half hostels/AirBnBs. Any and all feedback would be superbly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

  1. Your $2.5K USD budget is a lot for a two-week stay, covering moderate accommodations, meals, local transport, and entrance fees. I mean you can get real good food and hotels. I would hire someone to do all of your food reservations.
