This summer, I’ll be staying at a friends place in Tokyo for about 3 months. Some of the time I’ll be working remotely for my job but the rest I want to use as best as I can to improve my JP.
Any recommendations on how to use that time best?
I feel like that when I haven’t planned something in particular I’ll just end ap staying Indoors a lot of the time.
I’ve considered going to a language school, but most schools only offer full time courses for intermediante and advanced levels but I don’t necessarily what to be stuck in a school all the time, looking at some grammar points.
My main weak point is probably speaking but I’m not very good at small talk, and from my experience, neither are japanese people. So school is like the only place, except for the place I’m staying at, where I can imagine myself having a conversation thats last longer than just 「ううん、袋は要らないです」
Any advice from people who were in like a similar situation would be helpful.
