Hello Japanlife!
I have been to a number of concerts and festivals, but nothing where you had to schedule ahead like the Ghibli Museum. I have friends coming that wanted to go to the museum, but the English portal says it has run out of tickets. The Japanese portal shows many tickets. I had a few questions for anyone familiar with the process and rules as a result:
1) I am able to register on the Lawson ticket site, as I have a JP phone and address. Does that mean I am good to go ahead and purchase using the Japanese site or do I need a resident card?
2) If I am able to buy the tickets, I have seen that we can print them at a Lawson’s. Do I need to be present after printing the tickets, or could I hand the tickets to friends? I would have to take leave from work to go and i do not know most of their group, so do not want to interfere.
3) If the tickets cannot be printed and the information was incorrect, I believe then I need to attend in person for pickup. Can someone confirm that?
Anything else I might be missing? I have never gone myself, so this is also useful for me in the future.
Thank you in advance!
