Hi, I’m just wondering if anyone has ever gotten any sort of scholarships or funding from their local city. I heard through the grapevine that getting funding from your city hall is a possibility.
I’ve searched my city hall’s webpage with no luck on this. Perhaps I’m looking in the wrong place? I’m doing research (and was accepted) with a university, but they don’t offer scholarships or funding for research.
Would it be weird if I contacted an establishment asking for funds? Provided that I give them my research proposal and other related information, of course.
Any guidance on this would be appreciated. Thank you!
