As the title suggests, I am preparing to get rid of an old car and purchase a new one. Through all of my research, it seems I should be prepared to take a pretty big hit to what the actual value of the car is.

My questions: Does anyone have any experience selling to Autobacs, Gulliver, BigMotors, or the like? Has anyone ever used one of the auction brokers before?

The car itself is a 2010 VW Scirocco 1.4 TSI (think 3 door Golf, hatchback) with 11.4k KM.
I’m not expecting top dollar, but I also don’t want to give the thing away (lol).
