I’ve been living in Japan for over a year now attending a language school, currently around N2 (won’t get results back until later this month). My schooling and student visa are done in early April, but I would like to continue to living here. The problem is I don’t have any bachelor’s degree or any degree for that matter, and a lot of positions that offer a work visa ask for one. In addition, my funds are running out slowly but surely, and it would be nice to have an income again. I’m a native English speaker, and I have a friend who’s in a similar situation, but who isn’t a native speaker but is essentially fluent.
What options are there for people like us?
