Looking for a foldable bicycle (apartment is out of parking space), preferably with electric assist.
Living Tokyo for almost 10 years and I’m trying to get more exercise and explore my local area more.
I’ve rented bicycles off of Hello Cycling and really enjoyed them.
Found a few on Amazon but not sure if the prices are a good deal.
Any bicycle/shop recommendations would be helpful!

What’s your budget?
The best one would probably be the e-version of Brompton, but you’ll have to sell a kidney for that.
I seriously considered getting Panasonic’s foldable e-bike a while back!
But since it was too heavy to carry (even when folded), and I thought I might end up taking it abroad one day, so I ended up not getting it because of battery restrictions when taking it overseas.
I’ve been with my Tern N8 for about 2years now.
Been making some adjustments to make it 10kg instead of 11kg so it’s easier for me to carry it into trains.
Can’t speak for electric assist, but my standard Louis Garneau folding bike is great. Got it second hand, but would have been worth it even at full price.
