How do these sliding doors work?

Hello! I am currently trying to design a wall for a single sliding door and unfortunately I haven’t been able to find many documents explaining the technical details. I have purchased a Japanese rail kit from Sugatsune (FD30-DHCP), but for the actual construction of the wall I’m a bit stuck as we don’t really have them in my country (just barn/pocket doors).

I would love to see any photos if you have one of these sliding single doors! Mostly of the wall where the lock goes/the door frame/how the jamb is constructed.

* Does the jamb indent where the door meets the wall when closed?
* Where the door doesn’t have an architrave, how does the door jamb work? Our contractor said that architraves are usually to hide the wooden door jamb as you can’t plaster over the wood.
* Does the door need to be slightly wider than the doorway, so that there isn’t a gap down the side of the door when closed?
* Are there any documents I could check for how to construct/design this wall?

Here are some screenshots from videos as a reference for this style sliding door https://imgur.com/a/bf3EFlg

Thank you!
