Hi everybody! I made a post awhile ago with this itinerary, but I have since finetuned and updated it a lot, and I wanted to make sure I still have time to make any changes before I leave.
Some context: I’m a 21 y/o female coming to Tokyo by myself. My favorite things are shopping, Sailor Moon and taking pictures, but I also want to see some of the culture side and experience an onsen or two.

DAY 10: – 2/17/24
Sailor Moon Museum in Fukuoka
This is a 1-day trip, if I get done with the museum really fast I’ll be going to Canal City mall since it’s so close to the train station in Fukuoka. It was a pretty last-minute decision and I know the train ride to Fukuoka is a solid 5-6 hours, but I’m a huuuuuuuuge Sailor Moon fan and I knew I’d beat myself up if I didn’t take the chance to go.
DAY 11: 2/18/24

Leave festival by 1 or 2 depending on when the train leaves for Izu [train ride to Izu takes about an hour]
Stop in Izu on the way back to Tokyo for Izu Teddy Bear Museum [closes at 5] [i’d LOVE to do the workshop and cafe. Do you have to reserve the teddy bear workshop in advance? I looked on the website and couldn’t figure it out.]
DAY 14: 2/21/24
LAST DAY IN TOKYO. Leaving this as a chance to go back and do anything I really liked.
DAY 15: 2/22/24
Revisit any favorite cafes, my flight doesn’t leave until the evening so I’ll have plenty of time to get back to Narita.
Some questions:
How long should I expect the Kamakura Sakura festival to take?
Are there any more shops I should put on my list for Harajuku? I’m expecting to be a size M-L in Japan since I tend to be a US size S, so I certainly don’t expect everything to fit, hahah. I do genuinely love window shopping, though.
As someone who doesn’t have much experience in bars at all, is Golden Gai a good idea? (I know about the touts and not to follow anybody, but I’m mainly concerned about sitting by myself and ending up bored)
Anything I should know about buses in Nikko/Hakone? I really, really want to visit the onsens I have listed, but I’m nervous about actually getting to them.
Thank you, /r/JapanTravel!
