Hello, everyone, I am a humanities/engineer Visa holder, I’ve lived in Japan for 6 years, worked for 5 at the same company (I am working as a seishain as a student recruiter for a language school). Now I am searching for a new job for several reasons.
1) My colleagues are toxic gaslighters
2) They never gave promotion to me in five years, they gave promotion to the person who was hired 3 years ago, but I am just an ippan shain still.
3) The salary is very low (I get about 190,000 monthly after all extractions)
I am searching for a new job, but I am not sure which job I would like. I really wish to enter IT and I started learning coding via the course about full-stack development. But honestly, I am open to anything as long as it’s not this shitty place. I told them I am quitting latest in March, but honestly it’s been very tough these days and it’s harder and harder to make it daily. Also I feel like I am losing my time here.
Do you have any advice for me? Maybe about the place where I should search for a new position or what kind of position should I try? I really hope I can find myself in IT. I have N2 so Japanese-wise I am pretty much covered…
