This might be a strange observation.. does anyone else notice this? I have noticed that Japanese young women when they talk “cute”, they kinda take on a nasal tone, almost like an announcer might sound like if they had a cold and their sinuses were kinda congested. Is there something about the Japanese language that is more nasal than other languages? I don’t hear this from Japanese men. My native tongue is English. So I might be really wrong here!
