I’m blaming Forbidden Door for stealing Despy’s BOSJ win.
The IWGP Champion is going to be in the US for most of June/until G1 Start (same with US Champion)…so New Japan “needed” Hiromu to win BOSJ again, so that they can have a singles championship that can main event in Japan in the meantime.
If there was no Forbidden Door, Desperado would have gotten his due IMO.
