Need some advice

Hello everyone. I am a 19 y/o Singaporean who has been serious about relocating to Japan since young. I currently hold JLPT N2, and have secured a position in one of my local universities for my degree in Computer Engineering. I have a few questions:

1. How possible is it for a fresh graduate to get a job as a SWE in Japan with no work experience? I plan to continue refining my Japanese and my portfolio during university with projects and hopefully some freelance work, but I would like to know my chances. I know the SWE job market is absolute shit right now everywhere in the world.

2. Am I shooting myself in the foot if I start off as an eikaiwa teacher and then find a job as soon as I’m in-country? I’ve heard that Japanese employers might be more willing to hire foreigners if they’re already in Japan, but I’ve also heard that english teaching jobs are a black mark on any resume (is it really that bad?)

I’m currently serving in the military due to my country’s mandatory national service and I know I have a few years ahead of me but I would like to start planning for the future. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Have a great day everyone =)
