Hi – just after tips for dealing with deliveries to a small apartment in regional Japan.
By way of background I have purchased an apartment in a small town in Nagano and will be visiting for a few months a year to ski and then a shorter summer trip.
First time doing this and am wondering how does it typically work in a security apartment for Amazon deliveries. I’ll be arriving next week and then I’d imagine getting a lot of stuff in a short period of time to furnish the premises.
Do they buzz and tell front desk? If I miss something would they leave it/would the front desk manager typically be unhappy with that etc?
Unfortunately I don’t have a local cell either.
I want to do the right thing all-round so any advice appreciated!
