Pre-authorizations generally do not appear on the bank statements – or they do online, but once the hold is gone, its also removed. However I never experiences a pre-authorization followed by a cancel, so not sure how that’s handled. The answer is probably “depends on the issuing bank”.
Since the real charge never “happens” due to cash payment, pre-authorization (if there was any at all) will probably just disappear and would not be on the final statement, but might be visible online for the duration of the hold.
