Is this a viable option to move and become a permanent resident in Japan?

Friends,

I’m 29 with a bachelors in international business and multiple forms of passive income that equates to roughly $3500 per month with 50k USD in savings at all times.

If I attend a language school for the 2 years that some offer, become business level proficient, would I be eligible to seek employment and permanent residency after the time I spend at the language school?

On a side note, would I be able to bring my small dogs with me during the time I’m attending language school?

Am I underestimating the difficulty of moving to Japan with this approach?

I have the income to prove I’m capable of supporting myself, I have the college education. I have no criminal history and by the end of my language school I would have language proficiency. Besides a guarantor, what am I missing?

Thanks.
