Spicy White Tuna

I ordered a spicy white tuna roll for the first time today, and got what you see in the attached pic.

Does this look right? I’ve never had one before.

It looks like the tuna has been blended or processed. It is pasty, has a mealy mouthfeel, isn’t white, and bears little resemblance to tuna at all.

Is this what a spicy white tuna roll is supposed to be? Ty.

  1. 0% chance this was served to you all squished like this in a restaurant, looks like two chopsticks mushed it on purpose so that what is pictured looks even more unappetizing…

White tuna is already a shit show to begin with, imagine taking leftovers and mixing it with tempura flakes and masago and spicy mayo. How could this be good?

Fwiw as a sushi chef I have always stood firmly against serving this fish to customers, it is literally not something your body can digest. Things that might taste good might not always be good for you like farmed salmon from Norway…cancer causing cheap fatty farmed salmon or wild caught safe salmon…some people are even so ignorant they try to lead people into eating horribly toxic cancer causing food without any feeling of moral or ethical responsibility for their influence…makes me want to vomit.
