Reloading your digital Suica through Apple Pay with a foreign VISA is once again possible as long as you have updated your iOS to at least 17.2.
Only works for Suica, does not work for Pasmo.
I have personally confirmed that this works with foreign Visa cards issued by JPMorgan Chase (credit and debit), Bank of America (credit), and Wells Fargo (credit). It also worked with a prepaid Visa gift card issued by Green Dot.
