Hi all!
I’m a 25yo Australian looking to move to Japan, most likely on a working holiday visa sometime later this year.
I was hoping to sign up with an agency of some kind that can offer reliable work, and even assist with the process of moving over. I would be interested in working in Education (teaching/tutoring in English) or Hospitality, but am not limited to this. I have experience in customer service and as a teaching assistant, I however do not speak Japanese.
I have considered Eikaiwas but know of no reputable ones at this point, and am reluctant to try based upon the mixed reviews I’ve heard.
The JET program would have been ideal, however I do not have a bachelor’s degree which is required to partake in that program. Something akin to this would be nice.
I have also considered doing a season in a ski resort but believe that would only last for 3 months, when ideally I would like to stay in Japan for 6 months to a year.
Any suggestions or ideas regarding finding work would be awesome. Thanks!
