Hello!
My husband’s grandmother died, and although he is a Japanese Citizen, his grandma is not. The thing is, his passport is valid only until March 2024 (less than 6mos), and the country he is going to requires foreigners to have a valid visa (at least 6mos).
Is there an emergency passport certificate we can get? Do we get it from Japan or from the embassy of the country he needs to go to?
