Hi from the Netherlands. Recently I’ve become somewhat obsessed with this mysterious Japanese artist. Speed Glue & Shinki is pretty good, though I don’t like the vocals too much. His solo work strikes me as superior to that grouping, though – his self-titled album is great, and my favourite track is the brilliantly mellow, doom-droning Corpse.
However, information about him is tough to find. According to the wiki page for SGS he still performs today, but I can’t find any footage. Nor can I find the lyrics to Corpse, which is a bummer because I’d really love to know what the fuck he’s singing about!
Does anyone out there happen to know more about him? Any bootlegs, interviews, etc? I’m fascinated. This genius was once called the Japanese Jimi Hendrix, but he seems to have disappeared from the record completely after SGS. Any info you can share would be appreciated, but I would be especially grateful if, perhaps, someone with a copy of the album could check the liner for lyrics to Corpse.
