I moved to Japan about a month and a half ago for work. Initially I was in Tokyo and it was all fun because well you know its Tokyo! I moved to Nagaoka city in the Niigata prefecture on the western coast of Japan about a couple weeks back (again for work) and I recon I’ll be here a while. Not that I didn’t expect it but this place has 0 foreigners it feels like. And it snows all the time!!! How do I make friends and meet people in this godforsaken place? Someone help me!! Any apps, groups anything??
