Since you’re looking for like a romantic comedy from the 90s =]
Tokyo Love Story and Long Vacation are both classics of the 90s.
Getting slightly later in era (early 2000s), Ikebukuro West Gate Park (drama series, there’s an anime too) and Kisarazu Cat’s Eye — both of those are by a super popular screenwriter named Kankuro Kudo, aka “Kudokan.”
Aibou is a super popular police procedural series that started early 2000s and is currently on its 20th or so season.
I haven’t seen any of it, but I think the ultimate “classic” police J-drama is Taiyo ni Hoero, aired in the 70s-80s.
The live action Sukeban Deka shows are pretty 80s. Not really too much like those other shows you mentioned but as far as the time period goes.
