You may have already heard about awkward translations on theory tests in English…
Yesterday I had a question dashed lines in a curb saying “the driver cannot pull over and park – true or false”.
Now, stopping is permitted, and parking is not. Am I supposed to assume
– False: not *both* are forbidden
– True: you cannot park *after* pulling over
It doesn’t help that pulling over could be a different translation for “stop”, or a purposely misleading similar word.
How would you interpret this?
