I was on my way to dinner in Ropponggi crossing a busy intersection when I noticed a lady was riding her bicycle with a headlight on but no helmet. Suddenly, I became aware that none of the few riders I’ve seen so far are wearing one.
I didn’t pay attention if the ones in my residential area has a similar scenario but wasn’t there a new law about 2 years ago regarding helmet requirement? What happened to it?
Have no plans to buy a bike soon but I used to want one until I ended up thinking it’s less hassle to walk and/or commute (especially when I heard about the helmet requirement.)
