Hi, I’m looking for some advice. I’m considering doing an iPGCE and I’m not really sure how to go about sourcing my own schools to do it in. I live in Tokyo with my wife. I thought about going back to the UK to do a PGCE there but, logistically it seems really difficult to do at the moment so I think a iPGCE might be the way forward. I currently work in an ekaiwa for kids, so I can’t do training there. I’m interested in doing training in primary education.
I asked the course provider about it and their answers were pretty vague. Does anyone have any experience with finding training schools or maybe know any schools in Tokyo that would be happy to train me? Even if someone has an idea of what the process is or the best way to ask. At the moment it’s a bit of a mystery and it’s freaking me out.
Any advice would be appreciated.
