I recently traveled through japan and went on mount inari. one of the smaller shrines was one with sandals hanging on the side and they sold these kind of omamori with 6 wooden gourds and a bell . There was also a picture of a sumo wrestler. Does someone know more about this person or deity as i only found out that these are supposed to help with illness.
