This is a long shot, but on Instagram I just saw a cool clip of a (Japanese?) woman with a buzz cut making hot fresh ONIGIRI in a restaurant. You can see her bring the rice out which is very hot, so when she’s scooping it with her hands you clearly some pain in her face, but she’s also enjoying it and smiling too as she’s sculpting or rolling the rice balls in her hands. She’s short, a little chubby, with a buzz cut, and smiley. Very distinct look imo. She was super genuine, skilled and then brought out a giant Strawberry she turned into a dessert. Caption said “Worlds best Onigiri” I want the food there!!! 😩
I wanna identify the restaurant and put it on my bucket list for Japan. My Instagram feed suddenly refreshed so I didn’t get to save the clip or follow the page but I NEED TO KNOW THE RESTAURANT or CLIP if anyone else has seen it? Also I think there was Japanese text on the post, I had to click translate. But it said alot people claim “This is the world’s best Onigiri” or something like that.
