Hi Everyone,
Will be heading to Japan for the first time with a buddy of mine. I posted a few weeks ago with a rough itinerary, made some changes and ironed things out.
Hopefully everything here is doable. I tried to make sure we could move some plans around if needed. Figured in travel times for most, if not all plans. I’d love thoughts from the sub.
Also, we haven’t nailed down too much in the way of specific places to eat so any food rec’s will be welcome!
**Thursday – Arrival Day**
* 9pm Arrival at HND
* 11pm ish Hotel Check-in – WPU Shinjuku
**Friday**
* 9am – Ueno Park and Tokyo National Museum
Because of not knowing how long we’ll spend at the Museum and possible travel/jet-lag fatigue, no other firm plans for the rest of Friday. But we do have some optional ideas if we have time:
* Sunshine City Mall
* Odaiba
* Aimless wondering
**Saturday**
* 7am – Tsukiji Market
* If time permits depending on how long we spend at the market, walk down to the Imperial Gardens
* 11am ish – Akihabara Exploring
* 6-7pm – Stop back in at the Hotel
* 7pm and on – Explore Shinjuku night life ( Golden Gai, Kabukicho, Omide Yokocho)
**Sunday**
* 7am – Meiji Shrine
* 9am – Harajuku (find Breakfast, Explore Takeshita St)
* 11am – Shibuya Exploring (Scramble, Parco, etc.)
* Dinner – Gonpachi
* Maybe walk around Roppongi after dinner
**Monday**
* 8am Shinkansen to Kyoto
* 1030am Arrival and head to Hotel (Double Tree Kyoto) to drop off bags.
* 1130am – Nishiki Market
* 3pm – Eastern Kyoto Exploring (Kiyomizu-dera, Higashiyama, area shrines and temples)
* Head back to the hotel when finished
**Tuesday**
* 7am – Fushimi Inari Shrine
* 11am – Yamazaki Distillery tour
* 3pm – Gion Exploring
**Wednesday**
* 8am – Shinkansen to Yokohama
* 1130am – Gundam Factory
* 330pm – Cup Noodles Museum
* 6pm – Shinkansen to Tokyo
* 7pm – Hotel Check-in (APA Shinjuku)
**Thursday – Departure Day**
* 8am – Hotel Check-out
* 9am – Asakusa (Sensoji Temple, Nakamise)
* 2pm – Head towards airport
* 6pm – Flight leaves from HND
