Maybe a year ago now I was talking to my ex about a murder case in Japan called the Setagaya Family Murders and since she lived in/speaks Japanese she was able to find a recent article in Japanese about the case that was discussing a new suspect. Somebody over on r/UnresolvedMysteries just posted about the case so I wanted to try and find it for them. If anybody could help me find it I’d be really grateful! The details I recall are that it mentioned an informant telling police about a coworker or employee of theirs that was known locally to be a petty criminal and trouble maker. Apparently the person talked about having broken into a house in the area and timeframe the murders happened. I’m sorry I can’t provide more info but it was a while ago now and I had to read a google translate version, so had trouble understanding some of it in the first place. Thanks again!
