I’m strongly considering doing a year or two of language school in Japan before doing my PGCE/MA in Linguistics. My question is about whether I can be enrolled in two institutions on a student visa— one language school in Japan and one remote/distance honours course from one of my home countries.
I can’t apply to PGCE without honours, which in my country requires an extra 4th optional year. I have my undergraduate and I don’t foresee this honours course taking up more than 5 hours per week, but it’s offered by a university that’s not in Japan. Is this allowed on the student visa, given that I would also be registered and studying with a language school in the country at the time?
