Should I use my Kanji deck the other way around?

Hi everyone, I’ve been doing Remembering the Kanji for a little bit over 3 months now and I try to do around 10 Kanji every day. I also use a pre-made Anki deck for this, however, the way it works is that it shows you the Kanji “name” (e.g., tide, cape, …) and then has you guess the Kanji writing (respectively æ½® and 埼 here). However I find this method very time-consuming and it’s tough to keep up with the rhythm, on top of that, I have no intention whatsoever of being able to write the kanji, my only goal is to be able to recognize them when reading.
I try to keep my RTK deck and my Core 2k/6k deck somewhat synchronized (i.e., I often reorganized my Core deck to have the Kanji I recently saw on top) and I realized that very frequently I can’t recall a certain Kanji writing just by seeing the name but I have absolutely no issue recalling the Kanji meaning/reading when seeing its writing in the Core deck.
That’s why I was wondering whether or not it was a good idea to change my Kanji deck so that it would show me the actual Kanji writing and have me guess the name instead. Has anyone done similar things? How did it turns out? Thanks in advance!
