How do you dispose a mattress?
And is it normal to replace a mattress after just 2 years?
Mine’s a ZINUS mattress (pocket coil type, about 10k Â¥). It was alright at first, but recently my upper back started to hurt in the morning. The pain goes away after a few hours of getting out of bed though. But I brought out my old futon and now writing this as I lay on the floor on my futon. Thinking about disposing it and getting a new one (probably without springs this time)

Here’s a very stupid question. I am currently residing in Japan, and will be residing in Japan half of the year for the next few years (I go back to my home country the other half). Am I allowed to post questions in this subreddit while I am physically in Japan, or do I have to live here full time and have all my paperwork done first? 😅

Oops, I posted in yesterday’s thread. Is it unsafe to plug a microwave into a power bar/ extension cord here, as well? I have no good place in my kitchen for a microwave, and got a shelving unit that would hold one… but there is no plug nearby.
anybody know how to use a japanese keyboard on ubuntu 23.10? I install the japanese keyboard layout but I have no idea how to activate it to write in hiragana/katakana/kanji like you do on windows.
