I’m starting uni in September to study Japanese and transfer after a few years to a Japanese university and was wondering if my girlfriend would be able to get in on a Spousal Visa if I’m a UK citizen studying in Japan. We’ve been talking about when we should get married and don’t know if we should wait until after uni when I can get a job in Japan and have a Work Visa for long stay or before moving to Japan so that she could come with me when I study there. Is it possible to get a Spousal Visa if you’re married to a non-national with a Student Visa in Japan? It’s been hard finding information online.
