  1. Hi, all new here, I have learnt Katakana and hiragana, but are there any good textbooks people recommend for the N5 level?

  2. Could anyone tell me the difference between using のに and ために for purpose? I’ve seen people claiming they are or are not interchangeable and got confused… i dont know which xource is reiable

  3. Where do I go to learn grammer? Like learning when to use ます or です, number systems. And other grammer stuff. All i have been learning was vacab and while duolingo teaches some sentences I would like to know why.

  4. I am looking for advice on how to restart learning japanese again, i am just looking for some advice as my i have been passively (?) learning the language and i was hoping if you can chime in on what should be my next steps:

Background: i am a dad currently living here in Japan for 4 years and honestly my level is at probably &tE level in terms of speaking and maybe a few kanjis in my belt.
Right now i am just watching ちびまるこ without
subtitles and learning thru context during washing the dishes.

Also i am using duolingo as i want to enforce my reading and listening as well.

Also my school has an unofficially gave me a language teacher but no structured learning just conversations(im taking notes atter class so as not to forget)

My question would be is would anki be a good suplement on my language learning ? And are there any other things that i need to start using?
