Hello friends, I will be taking my daughter to Japan for the first time for her 18th birthday. I planned it to arrive in May 6th right after Golden Week but I suspect it will still be very crowded. Trying to arrange things by areas, and leaving some rest time. I still have no idea about things to do in Kyoto, reading about the amount of tourist, we are open for recommendations on more peaceful or furthar away things to do. Thanks for the help!

1. Day 1 – Monday May 6th, arrival:
1. Arrive in Haneda at 9 pm
2. Transport and check in hotel at Asakusa
2. Day 2 – Tuesday May 7th, Shibuya:
1. No Morning plans, free time to walk around and get familiarized with subway system
2. Noon: Takeshita Dori
3. Evening around Shibuya crossing, look for dinner.
3. Day 3 – Wednesday May 8th, Asakusa:
1. Early morning to Senso-Ji temple (5:30 am)
2. Nakamise-dōri
3. 11 a.m. Team Labs Planets
4. 5 p.m. Shinjuku Park
5. Omoide Yokocho for the night
4. Day 4 – Thursday May 9th, Kamakura & Yokohama (need help on this day as it seems like too much, but got the idea from a Youtuber):
1. 7:30 a.m. Train to Kamakura
2. Kamakura Daibutsu
3. Hokokuji Temple
4. Lunch at Komachi-dori Street
5. Train to Yokohama
6. 4:30 p.m. Cup Noodles Museum (wont be doing the create your own cup, just the decorating one)
7. Go back to Hotel in Asakusa
5. Day 5 – Friday May 10th, Nagoya:
1. 6 a.m. Tsukiji Fish Market
2. Check out of hotel
3. Train to Nagoya
4. Check in Nagoya Hotel
6. Day 6 – Saturday May 11th, Ghibli Park:
1. Transport from Nagoya to Ghibli Park, all day in the park
2. Train to Kyoto
7. Day 7 – Sunday May 12th, Kyoto:
1. Explore by bike around Kyoto
2. Leaving free time to walk and get lost
8. Day 8 – Monday May 13th, Nara:
1. Day trip to Nara
2. Kasuga Taisha
3. Todaiji Temple
4. Kasuga Taisha
9. Day 9 – Tuesday May 14th, Kyoto
1. Kinkakuji
2. Yasaka Pagoda
3. Kiyomizudera Temple
10. Day 10 – Wednesday May 15th, Departure
1. Early train to Tokyo
2. Sightseeing, probably Skytree
3. Shopping for souvenirs, still looking for the best place
4. Head to Haneda for our 9:15 pm flight
