so i actually moved here a couple months but i poorly researched what bank to use before coming here. i just wanted a simple checkings account with a debit card since i’m a student here and don’t need to use it for more than occasional shopping, but the bank i used (wells fargo) has annoying ATM and international transaction fees and is hard to wire with.
what banks would you recommend that i can open a checkings account/get a debit card from here? i’m just looking for low to 0 fees and convenience, nothing fancy. i’ve seen charles schwab and capital one on a lot of lists but i know nothing when it comes to banking (pls pity me im only a child)
