I’m currently a little over two years into my Japanese learning journey and in thinking of pursuing a career in Japan. I’ve been studying intensely up until now and I passed my N2 easily on my first attempt this past December. I’m quite good at listening and reading but still very shit at speaking but I’m working on it.
I’m currently in second year of my undergrad in a biology/agriculture field. I have two more years to go after which I’m thinking of taking one year of intensive language school in Japan and then applying for a master’s program in Japanese while I’m there (MEXT?).
Seeing as though I’m at my current level after two years, would it be a reasonable to assume that after another two years of study and a year of intensive language school I would be ready to do a master’s in the biological/veterinary sciences?
I looked up a few language schools and I noticed they have courses specifically targeted for people who wish to enter higher education. Did anyone here ever take one of these courses or go through a similar career path that I’m hoping to? Any language school recommendations for my purposes?
