I (33m) did a fair amount of couchsurfing in my 20’s thanks to the kind hosts around the world, some of which I keep contact with to this day.
(For those of you not familiar, couchsurfing is basically hosting travellers free of charge at your place)
Now that I have a whole 2LDK to myself in Japan, I would like to “pay back” the grace I received and host low-budget travellers to Japan at my flat and also show them around if I have time.
Provided that I tell my landlord in advance that I will be hosting foreign friends from time to time, will it be a problem if I host couchsurfers for say 2-3 nights once or twice every month?
