Toilet broke. Will I be charged a repair fee by the management company?

Since yesterday my toilet tank kept on refilling by itself and when I investigated, it turns out the overflow pipe broke

I am not sure how it happened but since the overflow pipe is very close to the seat side of the tank, I suspect it might’ve gotten weakened from the times I leaned a bit too far while sitting and wiggled the tank, leading it to eventually broke

I am planning to call the management compant and ask them to fix this, but I’m concerned if and how much it might cost me. I tried searching for people with similar problem, but couldn’t find a definite answer, and my japanese isn’t nearly good enough to explain or answer possible questions they might ask on how this happened (though I am planning to ask for my friend for help if possible). I’m not sure if the management company will accept “I genuinely don’t know how this happened” as an answer

Also, for anyone with experiences on calling management company for a fix in their apartment, how long do you think it will take for them to respond, come, and fix the problem? I was initially planning to call next week since I’m currently in the middle of a busy exam week, but that means I would have to open the tank and readjust the mechanism every time I use my toilet which sucks..

Appreciate any answer and suggestions!
