good recommendations for texts or books in Japanese

I’ve been wanting to try and put my Japanese to use and try and simultaneously improve, but I have had no idea as to what I should actually read, any genre is fine!

    Not sure what your reading level is though, I don’t know how much beginner or low-level stuff they have on there.
