I wanted to make Tantanmen for the first time. So, I went to a japanese food supermarket and asked for “japanese sweet bean paste” (it’s from a recipe). The sales lady gave me Tenmenjan (see picture).
However, what is Tenmenjan used for?
..My tantanmen wasnt that good (not spicy) and I could’nt found other recipes with Tenmenjan.
